Hydraulic stone splitter mainly serves in engineering construction, demolition work, mining development, rock mining, and disaster relief. The YG Hydraulic concrete splitter consists of two major parts: a hydraulic power station and a splitter gun. The hydraulic stone splitter utilizes the ultra-high pressure oil output by the pump station to drive the oil cylinder, generating a huge driving force. After mechanical amplification, this force splits the object in a predetermined direction.

What are the main applications of hydraulic stone splitters?

The hydraulic rock splitting equipment is manly used for quarrying large blocks of building stone. It can efficiently split thousands of cubic meters of stone.

Hydraulic stone splitter is widely used in mining high-value building stones such as marble, granite, sandstone, etc. It can efficiently split large blocks of rough material to ensure a high yield rate.

How to use the hydrualic rock splitter?

First, you should use an air gun or drill to drill holes in the rock. The hole spacing is generally 0.5 meters. Hole depth is not less than 500 mm.

Second, insert the hydraulic splitter’s splitting gun into the pre-drilled hole, making sure it is positioned accurately.

Then turn on the hydraulic system and check whether the oil level meets the requirements (it should reach more than 2/3 of the oil level indicated by the oil gauge). Control the reversing valve to allow pressurized oil to enter the hydraulic cylinder and start applying pressure.

When the oil pressure reaches the set value (such as 60MPa), the wedge of the splitting gun will extend outward, gradually expanding the tiny cracks in the rock.

After the splitting operation is completed, the splitting gun is pulled out of the hole to prepare for the next round of operation.
